Lifesaving

7:45pm-8:45pm

Welcome to the Lifesaving section of Kingfishers Swimming Club! At Kingfishers, we don’t just teach swimming; we equip our members with essential water safety and lifesaving skills. Whether you’re interested in building confidence in and around water, preparing for lifesaving qualifications, or simply wanting to learn vital life skills, our program is designed for all ages and abilities.

What is Lifesaving?

Lifesaving is the practice of learning how to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies. It combines water safety awareness, rescue techniques, and CPR training, making it a valuable skill set for anyone who spends time near water.

Why Learn Lifesaving Skills?

Safety First: Knowing how to react in an emergency can save lives.

Build Confidence: Feel secure in your abilities around water, whether swimming, boating, or simply enjoying a day at the beach.

Develop Life Skills: Lifesaving teaches responsibility, teamwork, and quick decision-making.

Pathway to Lifeguarding: Our training can lead to formal qualifications, opening doors to opportunities like becoming a lifeguard.
