Armthorpe ASC is one of Doncaster's premier swimming club's with over 200 members and a rich history in all levels of competitive swimming. We compete on the local, regional and national stage and draw media coverage from newspapers and radio on a regular basis.
As well as providing a competitive environment for young aspiring swimmers we take great pride in our work with the local community and Learn to Swim/teaching programmes. We encourage swimmers of all abilities to get in to pool and, by offering a number of different pathways, keep them having fun in the water for years!

Why do we need help from sponsors?
We are a non-profit-making club run by volunteers. All fees and sponsorship money are re-invested into the club for the provision of pool time, equipment and travel. The club is seeking to raise funds via sponsors who share our goals of nurturing the fantastic wealth of talent that this club attracts. Also, to ensure the best for our swimmers, we ensure all our poolside staff have the relevant teaching/coaching/lifeguard qualifications. This is probably the most important investment on the clubs behalf, as it is the team of volunteers who keep the club running.
Why should I sponsor Armthorpe?
By sponsoring our club, you or your business can increase the awareness of your brand (name/logo) and the products/services that you can offer in your local (or wider) community. Sponsoring is not only a very cost effective way to market your services/products but also increases your profile in a positive way.
What does it cost to sponsor the club?
Sponsorship packages can be tailored to suit the budget of the business or individual and the cost of sponsoring may be a lot less than you think.

Principle Team Sponsor:
An annual agreement to have your company name on official club apparel, every page of our website, additional space in the clubs news letters & event programmes as well as being included in official press releases.
Product or Service Donation:
This is a great way to increase your profile in the local community for a relatively small investment. If your company has product or services which could be of benefit to a competitive sporting club, i.e. transport provider, equipment supplier, event catering or specific expertise.
Specific Sponsorship:
The club is continually growing and in order to do this we require additional funding. You or our company could choose to support a specific initiative/training trip/competition or community event. These can range in scope and value, so there is bound to be something to suit your needs. You may also wish to help cover the costs of training courses for our coaching/teaching staff... they are the ones who's knowledge and love for the sport pushes the swimmers on to better things!
Schofield Championships:
Sponsoring an event or providing a trophy/medals for the annual club championships (named after the club's first Chairman, Harry Schofield) is one of the most popular ways to support the club. Your company name would appear in the event program, on the clubs website and in all related media coverage.
Club Beneficiary:
This is a route for families or individuals who have a tie to the club and wish to donate. This is a great way to give back to the club and would include a mention in the Schofield's Championship Programme as well as being listed in the 'Club Benefactors' section of the Club Honours page on our website.
