Windermere Charity Swim

Four young people have worked extremely hard over a year to prepare for their charity relay swim of Windermere in August 2022. Each swimmer took their turn in swimming the 10.5 miles of the longest lake in England.

In Ava’s words ……. 'Hi my name is Ava I am 12 years old & was diagnosed in 2019 with type one diabetes , I am wanting to raise money not just for a great charity but show other people with type 1 that you can still do anything you want even with Type 1

The ECS Christmas appeal for disadvantaged children in the local area saw our donations reduce the number of children who don’t get to open a gift on Christmas Day.
