Mascot Role
Kingsley was pleased to return to his mascot role after a summer break in Paris and witnessed the Kingfishers team performing really well at the BML event at Chapeltown on 14th September 2024. He's really looking forward to the BML event at Eckington and the prospect of promotion to Division 1.
Kingsley at the Paris Olympics 2024
Well… Kingsley has excelled himself this time and has been to the Paris 2024 Olympics! He is such a lucky bear! Needless to say, he’s enjoyed himself and there were tears when it was home time! However, he’s pulled himself together and is now up to mischief once more - I hope the airline is ready for him because he’s beyond pumped up!
Many, many thanks to the Burkill’s for giving him the trip of a lifetime, and especially for managing to grab him before he launched himself into the pool!
Claire D Burkill and others
Kingsley says 'Bonjour' from Paris as he takes in the atmosphere of 2024 Olympics. He feels inspired by the GB Team in the swimming arena and hopes that all Kingfisher swimmers are watching in awe at the fabulous performances. One day it could be you!
Kingsley on his travels this April
A very early start for Kingsley but he's off on an adventure break to Portugal with Evie and Benjamin over the Easter Holidays. Look out for some pool antics soon!
After a busy morning of training in the lap pool, Kingsley and our Kingfishers are now getting some well earned rest!
Apparently Kingsley is a tough coach!!
Kingfishers have challenged Kingsley to a 20 minute challenge!
Kingsley is hitting the waves for a day of surfing before heading home tomorrow! He can't wait to see everyone when he gets back!
Winter Hibernation is over
After a long winter hibernation, club mascot Kingsley feels fully reinvigorated and ready to go. He took time out to watch the Kingfisher training squads at the pool and chatted with parents, swimmers and coaches.
He has been brought up to date with all the club news and success at recent Meets.
Keep an eye out for Kingsley in the exciting weeks and months ahead!
