Speed 2 getting ready for the new season

After the summer break it is a race to get our swimmers back to full fitness as quickly as we can without causing too much stress on the younger members of the club. The coaching team like to do a mixture of distance, speed and technique at this point of the year and spice things up with a curve balls now and again. This Saturday (1st September) lanes 1 and 2 had a go at the 20 minute challenge - to swimmer as far as they can in 20 minutes; the results of this test were as follows:
